There are days when there are a thousand things to be done and you wish that the day just wouldn’t slip by so fast. This is one of them. I am trying to get things ready as I will be out tomorrow. (Spending the day taking care of my little tyke and gettings things ready for his birthday..it’s on Sunday!!!) My boss will be in meetings so I am hopeful that it won’t be too stressful for the complaining bunch around me. (I am on top of the pecking order of assistants here so they cover when I’m out and they’re not too happy covering for the uberboss.)
I think I’ve accomplished a lot so far. I’ve set up some meetings, sent out a couple of e-mails and will be working on expense reports and tidying up before I call it a week! I am so excited because it’s Angelo’s birthday.. my boy is turning a year old! It’s going to be a fun week, I know. I have half his goodie bags together — bought those little toys I can put there. Tomorrow, we are hitting the dollar stores in the city (if plans push through for my boy and I to ride to the city with Alan) and we are going to take pictures. It is supposed to be a nice day out.
It’s just that so many things are happening all at the same time. I wish I could just stop and take a breather. Perhaps tomorrow will afford me that chance to step back and relax. I wish..
