My poor Cali is frozen — the twigs are all dried up. =( I know, I should’ve put him inside the house sooner, but things, as always, got me preoccupied.
In response to Anna on what else we do with calamansi — here are a few “tips”:
- Calamansi makes a good lemonade. Squeeze 4-8 fruit to a glass of water, add sugar and stir.
- Calamansi makes a good marinade for chicken and beef, rubbed on the meat and then seasoned with salt and pepper.
- It makes a good dipping sauce for dimsum, mixed in with equal parts soy sauce.
