Angel’s fever has finally abated. His temperature was back to normal this morning but his cough wasn’t any better. We actually managed a good trip to the city although traffic on the Long Island Expressway greatly slowed us down. He was pretty good on the short walk up to the child care center, but he started crying as soon as I let him off his stroller.
It was heartbreaking to watch him crying to stop me from leaving. He was coughing and crying so hard that he threw up some of his breakfast. I wanted to just hold him and hug him but I had to go. The realities of living in New York as they say mean being able to let go of your baby to leave them in daycare. So for those of you with yayas in Manila, take heart! You are truly lucky!
